• Evolving Note(2/22/02...): I enjoy the study of various Spiritual Teachings in Theology. I seek & have been studying to know & understand the basic essence of the nature of God and spiritual truth. Also, to understand the healing, purifying, redeeming, & uplifting effects & power of active daily application of these spiritual truths with the faithful works of The Great & Holy Spirit, in my life & the lives of others. I would like to share & use this medium of communication as an outlet for some of my Spiritual Learnings, Insights and Inspiration as I see and understand them in & from my Heart.
  *This section on "Prayer Works" includes many items from the Bible, as well as some Prayer related items from my other readings & listenings, along with many items from my own personal inspiration, learnings, writings(of prayer, poetry & song), & experiences with my various related studies of the Bible...

• There are Testimonies to The Power of Prayer in the lives of many, me included, and maybe even you. Sometimes unbenownst to us. When you Cry Out to God esp. during intense and troubling situations & even during the joyful & simplest of situations, have you ever noticed how it's at this moment you may see or become aware of something you didn't notice before that could solve your troubles or enhance or work things out in your favor or the favor of another you were concerned for? Or how someone or something comes knocking, calling, or comes to mind that would be an answer to your deeply heartfelt out cry, to help you, guide you, or show you how you can turn this situation around to make it work for you.
  *This is one simple and sometimes seemingly subtle way God Works in Our lives. Sometimes the Answer to your Prayers come in a Subtle way, almost unnoticed to the "Participant"(you the owner of the out cry(more on this below)). Unnoticed unless they were more discerning, observant, and in tune with how the Spirit Works. And sometimes it's like a windfall, roll you over, knock on your head...Wow! Where did that come from...?
  *I say "Participant" because many times the fullfillment of Prayer requires your participation in seeing it through. Listening to your spirit within enabling you to be in the right place at the right time, with the right people or enact upon a situation to see, know, grasp, accomplish, fulfill the answer. Whether that be related to a job, money, a person, place or thing in your life. This may be where the phrase "God helps those who help themselves" or... "who can help themselves" is derived from.
  *Then there are times or prayers when the answer has been with you or is in front of you already and you just have to wake up and see it for what it is.
  *And there are prayers that may seek you out in some way, shape or fashion and again you just have to be aware enough to recognize it for what it really is. Participation means you may have to be ready to make a move when the spirit says move or to make yourself alert & aware of oppertunites presented to you that you can be in a position to receive your prayer answer. This also goes for Visions/Dreams that you see for yourself in your life...
  *Basicly being Aware, Observant, Discerning, & Ready to receive &/or to enact upon something are important factors for you as the Participant to have that you may better fulfill your Prayers & your Visions & Dreams. It is important & really helps that your prayers are in agreement with what is pleasing to God or is the Will of God for you. God Answers Prayers! (ZenaLA 2/22/02)
