Three of our four woman crew of ingenious minds that despite the 14 hour rain followed by the cold 37+/- degree temps, found ingenious and creative ways to have fun, see some of the sites and still live it up with great food and cooking on this survivor like camping trip. Ok, I'll admit finding the nearest laundromat and a nice restaurant on the rain day really did wonders for maintaining our up beat spirits. We did have at least two out of three georgeously clear sky days with at least one clear starry & moon filled night in between to enjoy. And we did! Either sitting by the cozy camp fire drinking our favorite warm or cold or spirited drinks, roasting some hot dogs for snacks or smores while listening to music from the 70's or current or just interesting, or the adventure of hiking in the woods, crossing the river, twice, to get to the falls, or the oppertunity of using our brains to keep our camp comfortable during the rain! Yes an all around fun filled challenging & educational adventure. :-0
Next on to Worlds End.... :-)

  • Other Park Interests:
~ Worlds End State Park (Where I would possibly like to go next):
Virtually in a class by itself, this wild, rugged and rustic area seems almost untamed. Camping, cabins and hiking on the Loyalsock Trail attract many visitors to Worlds End State Park. The scenery is spectacular, especially the June mountain laurel and Fall foliage. Canyon Vista, reached via Mineral Spring and Cold Run Roads, provides outstanding views.
